On Sunday, 5th January 2025, the Muslim Wing of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Oyo State Chapter, witnessed a momentous transition as it dissolved its previous executive committee and inaugurated a new leadership team. The outgoing executives, led by Engr. Abdulkabir Alamulyekeen, were formally relieved of their duties during the ceremony, which also celebrated their contributions and commitment to the organization.
The event featured the swearing-in of the newly appointed executives, led by Amir Comrade Ramoni Ishola Gafari. Other key members of the new leadership team include Comrade Abdullah Adewumi (General Secretary), Comrade Lateef Ajayi (Financial Secretary), Comrade Oladiti Maryam (Treasurer), and Comrade Azeez Tajudeen (Public Relations Officer).
During his inaugural speech, Amir Comrade Ramoni Ishola expressed profound gratitude for the trust vested in him and his team. He outlined his vision for the organization, emphasizing unity, progress, and service to Allah and the community. He pledged to foster stronger relationships with affiliated organizations and zonal chapters through advocacy visits and active engagement.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of various Muslim organizations within the Council, who expressed confidence in the new leadership and its potential to steer the wing toward greater achievements. The event concluded with prayers for the success of the new executives and the continued development of the organization.
